Fisted Sister ... real band!!!
Just did a Google search out of curiosity and they're an actual 80s metal cover band. How funny is that!? I guess I should have done a search in the first place. Anyway, my hat's off to those guys for being just sick enough to come up with and then to use that name.

Just finished inking the last of page 10 and will post it later today. Doing some set up work so I can start the next pages tonight. I ink the word balloons and borders, let them dry and then go back in and ink the art within the panels. Maybe that sounds crazy but since I use the pens for most everything (but the balloons and borders) I try to use the brushes as much as possible all at once time. I'll do the borders for several pages so that I don't have this bottle neck again for a couple of weeks.

Man, tis' a dark day knowing that our name, Fisted Sister, has been taken :-( We'll have to figure out a new name. How' bout' "Hong Kong Whore"? Heh.

Cool about the new page. Didn't know you did the boarders and balloons first. It's always interesting to learn about a person's process. My process makes no sense and the end result looks like a chimp drew whatever image is on the paper!

Hong Kong Whore is pretty good. Saigon Whore was in that movie where she bites off Chris Farley's nose. Haw!

I'm not sure my process makes all that much sense to anyone but me. It is what it is. A clustercludgefest.

I thought that I was being clever and that I'd made up the band name. Turns out that someone else had come up with that one already and were actually using it. They're an 80s hair metal cover band (just as I'd joked) from Australia. They don't have their own site (that I saw) but have cut a CD and are on a compilation or two.

Just tryin' to be funny. Tryin'.
