The Final Feast
I just posted the artwork for The Final Feast t-shirt. There's a thumbnail of it on my home page. Clicking on it will show you a larger version of it. Clicking on that will give you an even larger version still. Clicking on the even larger version will just be a waste of your time. Don't bother.

This design will not be available from Pennant Palooza, however, since I've started crossing a line that their clientele aren't typically comfortable with. That's cool with me. I actually crossed that line with the Cuddly Cannibals Cafe shirt ... the one that says Feeding Frenzy on it. The dismembered parts were too much for them, I guess.

The Cuddly Cannibals are, in my mind, about preying on others. Society eating society. You'll see that when I put together the mini that goes with this new t-shirt art. Hopefully it'll offend plenty o' folks. Of course, plenty o' folks will have to see it first. Haw.

Consume Wisely.

Interesting interesting. Pennant Palooza isn't gonna want anymore cannibal shirts? They were offended by the Feeding Frenzy shirt? Gimme a break! Well, cream in their mouths!

No, they'll still want new shirt designs but they won't want the chewing and dismemberment stuff that I've included in the last 2 new pieces of artwork for the Cannibals. The sports stuff and the logo-type items are more to their customers' liking.

We're also working on a cook book that's CC related now. I'm waiting on a couple of photos that they want included to show up and I'll be putting that together. It will include pretty much all of the CC artwork that I've done ... with the exception of the new t-shirt design and the Cafe shirt art (which is also the cover art for "Leftovers").

I hear's it, I hear's it. Doing a cookbook with your cannibal illustrations would KICK ass!!!Such a great idea. In fact, it's so good of an idea, it's bad!!!! God, nick nolte rules!

The problem is that we're not doing any new illustrations and we're including the original 2 strips, which I didn't think were all that great, and stuff that's already been done. I'm expecting it to be pretty tame / lame.

They were trying to be nice and not make more work for me on the cookbook. I told them that I really didn't want to use those old comics but they feel they need to have these books soon and that doesn't allow me to put something new together for them.

Sorry, pal.

Is ok. I think though, you should take a flame thrower to their faces!!!! Take a photo of that, dress their steaming bodies up like the cuddly cannibals and use that as a cover to the cook book! Mmmmm...

I didn't find any of those shirts even remotely offensive. I guess we've gone pretty far down into the gutter ourselves, though. After having sex with a gangrenous mouth hole comes up in conversation, these T-Shirts are fucking Disneyland!

Looking forward to the new strip about those naughty little monkeys.

Yes, we've come a long way ... haven't we!? I explained to my friends on the phone today that these characters may have been pretty tame in the original strips but that wasn't the initial intention. Nor is it my intention to keep that up. I definitely don't mind doing the general audiences stuff for them but the stuff I'm now going to do will definitely not be for the little kiddies. Get ready for the stuff that I didn't show them doing before.

I should say that what I intend to do in the upcoming mini will be a bit unlike the previous CC stuff in terms of gore and what I've glossed over. I rushed through the original 2 strips because I was lazy. There will be plenty o' violence in the mini. I suspect that the mini won't be sent out with the t-shirts by my friends.

Yes yes! Robert, when you do a cuddly cannibal comic, please make it gory. Make the blood spew and squirt. Only makes it funnier. That and seeing nick nolte being torn apart my the cannibals bare hands.

Yes, expect gore ... and religious references ... and definitely expect it to be The Final Feast! Anyone notice that the "Christ" archetype had plates of fish and some bananas in front of him while the others look at him with surprise and suspicion? He's not dining in the Cuddly Cannibal way ... this is the set up for the CC mini. I'm going to do it in the same format as the latest Tickling A Dead Man book. Hopefully that will go over big at SPX. At least big enough that I feel good about the format.
